The enterprise-class Crosscheck Networks XML gateway products enable preemptive risk mitigation of business transactions exposed via REST, XML, SOAP, and HTTP services. Our patented technology has been developed over the last 8 years and is the industry standard for SOA governance, security, and identity. Leadership
Mamoon Yunus, CEO
Mr. Yunus is an industry-honored CEO and visionary in Web Services-based technologies. As the founder of Forum Systems, Mr. Yunus pioneered Web Services Security Gateways & Firewalls. He has spearheaded Forum's direction and strategy for six generations of award-winning Web Services Security products. Prior to Forum Systems, Mr. Yunus was a Global Systems Engineer for webMethods (NASD: WEBM) where he developed XML-based business integration and architecture plans for Global 2000 companies such as GE, Pepsi, Siemens, and Mass Mutual. He has held various high-level executive positions at Informix (acquired by IBM) and Cambridge Technology Group. Mr. Yunus holds two Graduate Degrees in Engineering from MIT and a BSME from Georgia Institute of Technology. InfoWorld recognized Mr. Yunus as one of 4 "Up and coming CTOs to watch in 2004." He is a sought after speaker at industry conferences such as RSA, Gartner, Web Services Edge, CSI, Network Interop, and Microsoft TechEd. Mr. Yunus has the distinction of showcasing Forum Systems' entrepreneurial leadership as a case study at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He has also been featured on CNBC as Terry Bradshaw's "Pick of the Week.".
Jason Macy, CTO
Jason Macy is the CTO at Crosscheck Networks responsible for implementation and product strategy of the SOA Web Services based technologies. As co-founder of Crosscheck Networks, Jason has pioneered the field of web service testing and simulation with over 50,000 product installations worldwide. Jason previously served as VP Engineering for the wholly-owned subsidiary Forum Systems where he is responsible for the software development lifecycle of the industry's only FIPS certified hardware security gateway for SOA web services.
Before moving into the XML web services realm, Jason worked as the lead architect for Raytheon responsible for testing and successful commissioning of the Air Traffic Control system at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam, Holland.
Jason has extensive experience in XML, Web Services, Networking, and Security and provides education and training of SOA web services implementation, testing, and security including speaking engagements at industry conferences such as Gartner and StarEAST. Jason holds dual-degrees in both Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
Rizwan Mallal, VP Operations
Rizwan Mallal serves as the Vice President of Operations at Crosscheck Networks, Inc. As a founding member and Chief Security Architect of Forum Systems, the wholly owned subsidiary of Crosscheck Networks, Rizwan was responsible for all security related aspects of Forum's technology.
Rizwan is also an advisor to Rumson Group, an alternative investment advisor and fund of funds.
Previously, Rizwan was the Chief Architect at Phobos where he was responsible for developing the industry's first embedded SSL offloader. This product triggered Phobos's acquisition by Sonicwall (NASD: SNWL). Before joining Phobos, he was member of the core engineering group at Raptor Systems which pioneered the Firewall/VPN space in the mid 1990s. Raptor after its successful IPO in 1996 was later acquired by Axent/Symantec (NASD:SYMC).
Rizwan started his career at Cambridge Technology Partners (acquired by Novell) where he was the technical lead in the client/server group.
Rizwan has a BSc. in Computer Science from Albright College and MSc. in Computer Science from University of Vermont.
Julie Osetek, VP of Sales
Julie Osetek is VP of Sales at Crosscheck Networks. Previous to Crosscheck Networks, Julie was the Vice President of Business Development for Carat Interactive. Carat is the world's largest independent communications specialist and the market-leader in digital media solutions. Carat is owned by global marketing giant Aegis plc. Before joining Carat Julie was Vice President of Sales at Vizium, Inc. a boston-based digital marketing firm which was ultimately acquired by Carat.
Prior to her experience in digital marketing Julie spent many years selling software for SAP America, Inc. and prior to that at OneWave, Inc. and Cambridge Technology Group.
Julie has a BA in Journalism and English from St. Michael's College in Vermont and a Masters in Communications from Simmons College in Boston, MA.

Neeraj Agrawal, General Partner Battery Ventures
Neeraj is General Partner at Battery Ventures. Neeraj joined Battery in 2000 and invests in enterprise software, technology-enabled services and Internet companies. He was a founding investor in BladeLogic (NASDAQ: BLOG) and helped the founders launch the company with the acquisition of Network Shell. In addition to BladeLogic, Neeraj's investments include A Place For Mom, Bazaarvoice, Consona (take-private, formerly Made2Manage), Guidewire Software, LifeMed Media and Omniture (NASDAQ: OMTR). He also serves on the board of Applimation.
Prior to Battery, Neeraj worked as a product manager at Real Networks, an operating executive at SkyTV, and a management consultant with Booz-Allen. Neeraj holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science from Cornell University as well as an MBA with honors from the Harvard Business School. He is a Charter Member of TiE, and an active advisor to several local entrepreneurs.

Jack Hembrough, former CEO Appsec Inc.
Jack has served as President and CEO at Application Security Inc (Appsec Inc.) from inception through its first five years. Jack also served as the Chairman of the Board at AppSec Inc. Jack came to the Company from Authentica, an application encryption software venture. Prior to Authentica, Jack was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for SafeNet, Inc. an encryption technology company that provided chips and software to fuel the VPN equipment marketplace.
Jack was the 14th employee of Raptor Systems, one of the first firewall companies. At Raptor, Jack built the global sales channels. After Raptor's IPO, Jack was installed as the Vice President/General Manager European Operations, and created Raptor's European organization headquartered in Amsterdam. Jack has held sales management positions with Network Systems and with Motorola / Codex, and has served in the USAF. Jack earned a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the United States Air Force Academy.
